INTRODUCTION

Network for Peace, Cohesion, and Heritage Trust (NEPCOH) is a peacebuilding organization established in 2019. It is headquartered at the Regional Peace, Cohesion, and Heritage Centre in Mandera, bringing together a pool of grassroots peace practitioners from various counties. The Network supports sustaining local peace infrastructures and grounds the peacebuilding efforts of county government, the national government, and the population in the Frontier Counties Development Council (FCDC) counties and the cross-border region. The Network is a local collaborative partnership that supports a pool of peacebuilders and local peace infrastructures to undertake peacebuilding and development work in Kenya. NEPCOH provides secretarial support to the Peace Actors Forum in the various counties in the FCDC Counties and is set up to provide in-kind and capacity support to formal and informal CBO, movements, and community initiatives involved in Peacebuilding and development work. Violent Conflict causes societies to disintegrate and ruins all interactions. NEPCOH Trust bases its conflict resolution on an open and inclusive dialogue of all peace stakeholders for long-term peace and empowering local peace infrastructures through peace and mediation capacity building.
